The event will take place June 12th at the Hyatt Regency in Century City. Women in Film, Los Angeles presents the annual event that recognizes the achievements of women in the entertainment industry. Aniston will be this year&#8217;s recipient of the Crystal Award for Excellence in Film. The Emmy-winning &#8220;Friends&#8221; actress has moved on to a film career with movies as various as the offbeat romantic comedies &#8220;The Break-Up&#8221; and &#8220;Along Came Polly&#8221; and indie efforts like &#8220;The Good Girl.&#8221; Most recently, she has appeared in &#8220;Marley &#38; Me&#8221; and &#8220;He&#8217;s Just Not That Into You&#8221; and next stars in &#8220;The Baster&#8221; and &#8220;Bounty Hunter.&#8221; Hunter, who stars in TNT&#8217;s &#8220;Saving Grace,&#8221; is to receive the 2009 Lucy Award for Excellence in Television. Having appeared in such films as &#8220;Blood Simple,&#8221; &#8220;The Piano&#8221; and &#8220;Broadcast News,&#8221; Hunter also has collected such TV credits as the HBO film &#8220;The Positively True Adventures of the Alleged Texas Cheerleader-Murdering Mom&#8221; and NBC&#8217;s &#8220;Roe vs. Wade,&#8221; winning Emmys for both performances. The MaxMara Face of the Future Award will go to Banks, who had four films in theaters last year: &#8220;W.,&#8221; &#8220;Zack and Miri Make a Porno,&#8221; &#8220;Role Models&#8221; and &#8220;Meet Dave.&#8221; She also recently appeared on the big screen in &#8220;The Uninvited&#8221; while also showing up in a recurring role on ABC&#8217;s &#8220;Scrubs.&#8221; She is involved in producing several projects, including &#8220;The Surrogates&#8221; and &#8220;Forever 21,&#8221; through her Brownstone Prods. Hardwicke, who most recently directed the hit &#8220;Twilight,&#8221; will be recognized with the Dorothy Arzner Directors Award. Her films also include &#8220;thirteen,&#8221; &#8220;The Nativity Story&#8221; and &#8220;Lords of Dogtown.&#8221; Hardwicke recently signed on to direct the film adaptation of the young-adult novel &#8220;If I Stay&#8221; for Summit as well as the adaptation of James Patterson&#8217;s &#8220;Maximum Ride&#8221; for Columbia.
