Did 'Dear John' Dethrone 'Avatar'?
According to Friday’s estimates it looks like it! I was beginning to wonder if there was even a point of writing about Box Office results anymore because it seemed that no new film could take down the monster that is Avatar…well until now. According to estimates Dear John beat out Avatar on Friday and looks to be on it’s way to the number 1 for this weekend. Can’t say I’m surprised. Dear John is based on a book by the same author of the Notebook, you know that viral, yet awesomely classic love story that has people still swooning to this day. I haven’t seen Dear John but if it’s anything like the Notebook… Love does conquer all.
