First want to thank you for visiting my site. In regards to the lovely spam, yes I wrote this about Jennifer Aniston’s new film but you’re wrong about the rest.
Just because someone claims to be a fan of an actor/actress/sports star/rockstar/whoever doesn’t mean they have to kiss the ground they walk on. There are plenty of works she’s done that I didn’t like (Rockstar,Rumor Has It) and some that I loved (The Good Girl, Along Came Polly) but that doesn’t take from my fan status. In the next three years she could put out a slew of flops and I would still recite why she is my favorite actress.
Honestly, I am burnt out with the romantic films. For one it keeps the press in that tireless ‘We must know every single detail about her private life’ cycle they’ve been in for the past 5 years. It get’s more ridiculous as the years go on. And then there’s the been there,done that feeling.
Jennifer is such a great actress and is one of the few who has the ability to draw the audience in, no matter what character she plays. Because of that ability, I want to see her do other things. I would hate for her to become the next Meg Ryan and just burn out completely. ( Oh no alert the Meg Ryan police!) Play a professor,a cop, maybe even a convict… Goree Girls anyone? Not only will she sing, she will play guitar too! Now that is what I am looking forward. Until then I will probably bitch my way through a few more of her projects (Pumas?! ) and happily wait for others.
