Variety
People are still dying to see Final Destitation as it tops the weekend box office for the 2nd week in a row. Despite yesterday’s estimates ‘Basterds’ came in at number 2 while “All About Steve” and “Gamer” came in 3rd and 4th respectivly. I guess movie goers were all about Steve after all which questions Bradley Coopers staying power as the new “it” actor the title his people so badly want him to have. You can tell that by watching the tv spots for ‘Steve’. He can’t ride the coattatils of The Hangover forever. Not really surprised at how badly Gamer did; close to no promotion plus it was playing in a thousand less theaters than the top 2. Let’s not even go into the bad tv spots where ’300′ was mentioned.
