Music Note:Jermaine and Friends to Do MJ Tribute

Posted on 13 August 2009   Music Note, R.I.P.

There are alot of MJ tributes in all forms already done and yet to come but his brother Jermaine along with Usher, Whitney Houston, John Mayer, Dioone Warwick, Lionel Richie, Wyclef John and Larry King’s wife Shawn King are set to remake Micheal’s song Will You Be There. Proceeds from the remake will benefit King’s Cardiac Foundation and an yet to be name Foundation that was supported by Micheal.

Usher, Dionne Warwick, Wyclef
and Jermaine Jackson are joining Mayer, Richie and Houston in recording a remake of Jacko’s “Will You Be There.” Larry King’s wife Shawn, who is spearheading the tribute and sings on it as well, tells us she’s not sure if Jennifer Hudson — who sang the song at Michael’s over-the-top memorial last month — will be involved with the project, as she just gave birth. There is also a tribute concert by King and Jermaine set for a Vienna Castle Sept. 26. No confirmed performers have been announced.
